2026年3月31日，第九期贝多芬沙龙——名师面对面系列活动圆满落幕。本期活动特邀旅德钢琴家、华东师范大学教授张玎苑博士倾情加盟，以“经典与人生”为核心主题，在位于上海市黄浦区小汇丰大楼上海留学人员之家（外滩）的百年洋房中，成功搭建起一场跨越中西的音乐教学思维碰撞平台，来自各界的音乐爱好者、教育从业者齐聚一堂，在琴音流转间探寻艺术与人生的共鸣，共赴了一场兼具温度与深度的跨文化艺术之约。
On 31 March 2026, the 9th Beethoven Salon – the ‘Face-to-Face with Masters’ series – came to a successful conclusion. This edition featured a special guest appearance by Dr Zhang Dingyuan, a pianist based in Germany and professor at East China Normal University. Centred on the theme of ‘Classics and Life’, the event successfully established a platform for the exchange of musical pedagogical ideas spanning East and West within the century-old mansion housing the Shanghai Overseas Students’ Home (The Bund) in the Xiao Huifeng Building, Huangpu District, Shanghai. Music enthusiasts and educators from all walks of life gathered together to explore the resonance between art and life amidst the flowing melodies, sharing in a cross-cultural artistic encounter that was both warm and profound.
本次活动的核心嘉宾张玎苑教授，是享誉国内外的旅德钢琴家、钢琴博士、硕士生导师，华东师范大学音乐学院首任键盘系主任，首届中德贝多芬青少年钢琴大赛评审主席，中国首位FAZIOLI全球大使，更是第一位登上柏林爱乐音乐厅的华人音乐家，拥有深厚的专业造诣与丰富的教学经验。她三岁学琴，十二岁考入中央音乐学院附中，后以第一名的成绩考入德国柏林艺术大学，师从钢琴系主任Rainer Becker教授，最终获得国际钢琴演奏最高文凭（我国教育部认证为博士），在校期间曾连续三年获得校内奖学金及“亨德米特奖学金”。作为演奏家，她曾在柏林爱乐音乐厅、上海音乐厅等国内外顶级场馆举办独奏音乐会，与柏林交响乐团多次合作，出版发行《张玎苑演奏的德彪西12首钢琴练习曲》等个人CD、DVD专辑，其演绎的德奥和法国经典钢琴作品充满对生活的激情，兼具专业性与感染力；作为教育者，她深耕钢琴教学领域多年，在华东师范大学任教期间，开设特色课程、成立“张玎苑四手联弹工作室”，培养的学生在国际国内重要比赛中获奖百余项，多篇教学论文荣获国家级奖项，深受业界认可，更长期致力于中西方音乐的融合与传播，力图打破传统的文化隔阂，打通中西音乐融合的道路。
The event’s keynote guest, Professor Zhang Dingyuan, is a renowned pianist based in Germany, holding a PhD in Piano and serving as a supervisor for postgraduate students. She is the inaugural Head of the Keyboard Department at the School of Music, East China Normal University; Chair of the Jury for the first Sino-German Beethoven Youth Piano Competition; China’s first Fazioli Global Ambassador; and the first Chinese musician to perform at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall. She possesses profound professional expertise and extensive teaching experience. She began learning the piano at the age of three and was admitted to the Affiliated Secondary School of the Central Conservatory of Music at the age of twelve. She subsequently gained entry to the Berlin University of the Arts in Germany with the highest marks, studying under Professor Rainer Becker, Head of the Piano Department, and ultimately obtained the highest international diploma in piano performance (recognised as a PhD by the Chinese Ministry of Education). During her time at university, she received the university scholarship and the ‘Hindemith Scholarship’ for three consecutive years. As a performer, she has given solo recitals at top venues both at home and abroad, including the Berlin Philharmonic Hall and the Shanghai Concert Hall. She has collaborated on numerous occasions with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra and has released solo CD and DVD albums such as *12 Piano Etudes by Debussy, Performed by Zhang Dingyuan*. Her interpretations of classic German, Austrian and French piano works are imbued with a passion for life, combining professionalism with emotional resonance; As an educator, she has dedicated many years to the field of piano pedagogy. During her tenure at East China Normal University, she established specialised courses and founded the ‘Zhang Dingyuan Four-Hand Piano Studio’. Her students have won over a hundred awards in major international and domestic competitions, whilst her teaching papers have received numerous national accolades, earning her widespread recognition within the industry. Furthermore, she has long been committed to the fusion and dissemination of Chinese and Western music, striving to break down traditional cultural barriers and pave the way for the integration of Eastern and Western musical traditions.
百年洋房藏雅韵，梧桐深处话经典。活动选址于梧桐掩映的百年洋房，褪去了传统音乐会的拘谨，以更具温度、更显私密的沙龙形式，为参与者打造了沉浸式的艺术体验，践行了活动初衷：这里没有标准答案，只有同频者的灵感共振。活动现场，张玎苑教授围绕“经典与人生”这一主题，结合自身旅德求学经历与多年教学实践，深入分享了钢琴经典作品背后的文化底蕴与人生思考，重点解读了德奥音乐文化的结构、情感与时代内涵，拆解了中西方钢琴教学的差异与融合点，带来了一场兼具思想性与实用性的跨文化教学思维碰撞。本次沙龙活动的成果丰硕，参与者们探讨总结的优秀教学方法将被收录进《贝多芬教师共创手册》并署名，部分优质教学创新想法还可申请“上海宋庆龄基金会贝多芬音乐专项基金”试新项目资助。
A century-old mansion exudes elegance; amidst the sycamore trees, classics are discussed. Set within a century-old mansion shaded by sycamore trees, the event shed the formality of traditional concerts, adopting a warmer, more intimate salon format to create an immersive artistic experience for participants, thereby realising the event’s original intent: here, there are no standard answers, only the resonance of inspiration among kindred spirits. At the event, Professor Zhang Dingyuan delivered a talk on the theme of ‘Classics and Life’. Drawing upon her own experiences studying in Germany and her many years of teaching practice, she offered an in-depth exploration of the cultural underpinnings and philosophical reflections behind classic piano works. She provided a detailed analysis of the structure, emotional depth and historical significance of German and Austrian musical culture, whilst examining the differences and points of convergence between Chinese and Western piano pedagogy. Her presentation fostered a thought-provoking and practical exchange of ideas on cross-cultural teaching approaches. The salon proved highly fruitful. The outstanding teaching methods discussed and summarised by participants will be included in the *Beethoven Teachers’ Collaborative Handbook* with their names credited, whilst some of the high-quality innovative teaching ideas may also be eligible to apply for funding under the ‘Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation Beethoven Music Special Fund’ pilot project.
